Steve Kosten was elected by the membership to lead the Lodge for the new year of 2010-2011.  Steve will be a great leader and he has many good ideas that can positively affect the direction of the Lodge for the coming year.  Please give him a warm welcome handshake.
Steve and the other elected and appointed officers will be installed into their respective office on April 10, 2010.  Also during the festivities, the Elk of the Year will be named and other Lodge awards will be given. 
We invite all the Membership to come out & participate in this once a year event.  The program will begin at 6:00 p.m.

A very special thank you to Jim Rooney for all your years of dedication and service to Lodge #48.  Jim will serve out the remainder of his Trusteeship this month.  As many of you know, Jim can always be counted on for a good story and sharing many fond recollections of his time with this organization.  His knowledge of Elkdom and Lodge #48 has made him a significant contributor to the Boards, Committees and groups he has served on.  Individually, we have all benefited from serving with him.
Thanks again for your outstanding stewardship.

TRUSTEES/BOARD OF GOVERNORS MEETINGS NOTICE
Starting this month the Board Meetings will be held on the 4th Tuesday each month @ 6:00 pm.  The Board Meetings will precede the Lodge Meetings which will convene at 7:00 pm.  All Board Meetings are open to the membership.  See you on the 23rd.

Come by yourself or bring some friends. You do NOT need a partner or a full team to join; teams are made by drawing for a partner.  A total of 6 rounds are played and you will play with a different partner every game.  Come and socialize, meet new friends, & fun for everyone. Fee will be a $5.00 “donation” with all being paid out! If you don’t know how to play come watch and we will teach you.
