VETERANS UPDATE
The Elks Lodge # 48 hosted the Veterans from the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans in our Antler Room. We were all treated to beautiful piano music by our own Ken Malewitz which was a great addition to the luncheon! Thank you Ken! Our volunteers served a delicious meal, dessert and the Veterans enjoyed a few games of bingo. It is always nice for them to get out and enjoy time with others. We saw lots of new (and regular) faces that came out to volunteer, and I appreciate each one of you for taking the time to do so. It is always a wonderful occasion to serve and honor our Vets. If you are interested in helping at the Home or at an upcoming event, please let me know.
